Alex Clarke (born 9 January 1981 in Bath, Somerset) is a rugby union player for London Scottish, having formerly played for Bristol. In 2009, he married Kelly Green Alex Clarke's position of choice is as a Prop. Alex Clarke is a five time rugby world cup winner he is famous for his half way line dive try, where Clarke dives from or close to the half way line and still crosses the try line. Clarke is the only player to score 11 tries in 19 consecutive cup games. after Clarke suffered a horrific shoulder injury during a scrum against New Zealand that forced him to retire. Clarke at first became a sky sports one pundit along side John Inverdale however he left in 2010 to pursue a career in teaching in inner city school helping to turn around troubled and disadvantaged children.
